Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.
Help coordinate a business analyst team’s duties and activities on IT projects and nurture newer team members by providing guidance and support.
Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impact.
Work with clients to develop business specifications at the start of technical projects.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how business requirements align across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation and support.
Analyze, plan, design, document, and recommend improvements to business processes that support clients technology goals.
Partner with technical teams and stakeholders to support healthcare and Medicaid claims processing initiatives and related system enhancements.
Help verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results.
Exercise your ability to use analytical and relational database software such as Excel or SQL to quantify the anticipated impact of work.
What were looking for
6+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, including 3+ years supporting Medicaid, Medicare, and/or Medicaid Claims programs preferred.
Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills.
Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements and communicate effectively with clients, business leaders, and technical teams.
Experience leading requirements gathering sessions, documenting business processes, and validating solutions through testing and stakeholder review.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members and influence project outcomes.
Technical & Systems Knowledge
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how business requirements align across the full project lifecycle from planning through implementation and production support.
