The ideal candidate must be able to proactively communicate ideas and opportunities, as well as conduct in depth analysis to support client recommendations and insights. The candidate should have a solid background in measurement and performance analytics, with an openness to learn and expand skills. Responsibilities: - Handle routine reporting and presenting (primarily bi-weekly and eventually, quarterly reports).
- Manage ad-hoc analytics questions & requests in a timely fashion.
- Assist in website analytics initiatives, including website tag implementation
in Google Tag Manager and running custom analytics reports using Google Analytics and Big Query.
- Create custom analytics dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI or similar tools.
- Assist in report automation.
- Assist in campaign planning and performance analysis.
Education and Experience: (You don’t have to be an expert in any of these, but we are looking for someone with a basic understanding and a willingness to learn / grow these skills): - Bachelor’s degree preferably in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics or similar with 0-3 years’ professional experience. - Basic knowledge of Python & data and plotting libraries, with a keen interest in developing their programming skills. - Basic SQL capabilities: joining tables, using ‘group by’ clauses, case statements. - Basic understanding of statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, statistical tests (chi-squared, etc) and how to use them.
- Knowledge or experience working within Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics.
- Familiar with the basic fundamentals of data visualization, and at least one
data visualization tool or package (Tableau, PowerBI, LookerStudio/Data Studio Plot.ly, Seaborn, ggplot etc).
