The role works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The Data Analyst IV consults with internal Data Analysis & Calculations (DAC) team members and other teams within PFD to identify analytics needs, integrate diverse data sources, resolve data anomalies, and communicates findings in clear, actionable formats for technical and non-technical audiences. Essential Job Functions (EJFs): Performs Complex Data Analysis, Financial Modeling, & Visualization – 35% Collects, integrates, queries, cleans, and analyzes large and complex data sets using standard and advanced languages and analytics software such as SQL, MS Excel, SAS, Python, or R. Builds and maintains dashboards and visualizations to identify significant differences, patterns, and trends that inform decisions. Supports complex calculations and financial modeling for rate methodology development, fiscal estimates, and utilization analyses. Assists in cost report development.
