DescriptionThe Application & Platform Services Business Analyst serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, identifying, analyzing, and delivering technology-driven solutions that support operational, regulatory, and business objectives. This role partners closely with Compliance, Product Stewardship, Sales, and Information Technology teams to understand business processes, data requirements, and system capabilities, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, data models, and other artifacts to assist in capturing the current and future states of business systems
- Research and propose approaches to develop functional and technical specifications for new or modified systems, processes, and procedures to meet business requirements
- Work closely with software developers, data analysts, and testers to ensure new systems or changes to existing systems meet the defined business requirements, are delivered timely, and within budget
- Help apply system settings and options to meet business goals supporting the planning and execution of system testing
- Conduct research on third-party solutions or technologies and gather insights related to their features, benefits, and drawbacks, and present findings to senior team members
- Support team in updating and maintaining system documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness, such as process diagrams, data dictionaries, user manuals, and training materials
- Analyze system metrics, such as uptime, response times, and error rates, to recommend system optimization and performance improvements
- Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to support the team with identifying potential opportunities to improve existing business systems and processes
- Support and coordinate training sessions for end-users, as needed
This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.
