Required Qualifications:
ā¢ Experience with healthcare claims
ā¢ More than seven years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining complex Tableau or MS Power BI dashboards, visualizations, and analytics
ā¢ Proven strong development of high performing SQL with more than five years of experience developing complex SQL scripts (Teradata/DB2/Oracle Load Utilities) or stored procedures
ā¢ At least three years of experience using x12/EDI data including 835, 277, and 837
ā¢ At least five years developing complex business intelligence solutions
ā¢ At least five years of data warehouse project experience
ā¢ At least five years Teradata version 14+ experience, including SQL Assistant/Teradata Studio
ā¢ Excellent verbal/written communication skills, end client-facing skills, team collaboration, and mentoring skills
ā¢ Bachelors or Advanced Degree in a related field such as Information Technology/Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Analytics, Business Technology
ā¢ Strong organization skills and ability to set priorities and schedule work deadlines
ā¢ Adapting to and collaborating with the team and organizational culture
Primary Responsibilities:
ā¢ Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts used to create data marts in Teradata.
ā¢ Gather business requirements and prepare analyses based on information from internal and external sources to evaluate and demonstrate program effectiveness and efficiency supporting projects and change requests.
ā¢ Design, develop, implement, and maintain Business Intelligence reports using healthcare claims data.
ā¢ Develop complex business intelligence solution and supporting data strategy leveraging acquired subject matter expertise to identify/inform opportunities/risks.
ā¢ Develop complex dashboards, scorecards, reports, and data analysis using X12/EDI pre-adjudicated data including 835, 277, and 837 transitions.
ā¢ Maintain effective communication and relationships with all individuals involved with the project.
ā¢ Improve the delivery and management of health and human services programs by utilizing advanced analytics, including but not limited to advanced algorithms, data visualizations, and maps.
ā¢ Participate in project discussions to document and recommend alternative technical solutions or requirements.
ā¢ Participating in unit, integration, and system testing.
ā¢ Perform peer-reviews and provide technical support/guidance to the project team.
ā¢ Support the project manager and leadership in project planning and executing activities, including presentations, risks/issues, and status reporting.
ā¢ Demonstrate deliverables to the team or the customers for approvals and gain buy-in to implement solutions or adapt to new products/services/programs.
ā¢ Work with the DBAs, data modelers, and application/system admins to support maintaining the Teradata and application server hardware and software (including patches, fixes, and upgrades) and leading industry level standards or best practices.
ā¢ Learn new technologies as needed to be able to perform job duties effectively.
ā¢ Research and consult with resources and/or industry experts to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of systems and applications.
ā¢ Perform additional duties that are normally associated with this position, as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ More than five years of experience analyzing and delivering complex analytics using Medicaid or Managed Care claims.
ā¢ Experience with State Medicaid / Medicare / Healthcare industry
ā¢ More than three years of Tableau Server Administrative experience
ā¢ Experience in SAP Business Objects or SAS
ā¢ Prior Experience in Tableau or BO version upgrades
ā¢ Experience in Agile
