We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst with expertise in supporting local government clients and configuring the Accela Civic Platform for digital transformation.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with client stakeholders to comprehend departmental workflows and customize Accela to enhance service delivery, compliance, and citizen experience.

Note: Occasional travel is required to client sites to support discovery, implementation, training, and rollout phases.

Responsibilities

Engage closely with local government clients to grasp workflows such as permitting, inspections, licensing, and code enforcement.
Conduct business process analysis and document current- and future-state requirements.
Translate functional needs into actionable configuration plans within the Accela Civic Platform.
Configure modules, forms, workflows, and reports tailored to each client's needs.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), lead training sessions, and provide post-implementation support.
Collaborate with internal technical teams, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
Maintain project documentation and contribute to internal best practices and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Required:

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, preferably in the public sector or with configurable SaaS platforms (e.g., Accela, Salesforce, Tyler, Liferay).
Experience gathering requirements, modeling business processes, and configuring software systems.
