About the Role:
This position supports, teaches and leads projects using Lean, Six Sigma and project management methodologies to achieve organizational goals. The incumbent collaborates closely with Lean Advisors, and supports discussions and workshops with design engineering, operations, supply chain and other business areas.
What You Will Do:
- Promote Lean culture and support in developing customized Lean training programs.
- Assisting in employing Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations to meet business goals and objective.
- Support in design and development of Six Sigma program strategies and goals, including supporting dashboard and tools creation for tracking purposes.
- Providing assistance in the implementation of Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements.
- Participating in planning, developing and implementing Six Sigma projects to meet specific quality and performance standards. Document project meetings, particularly status reports on deliverables and next steps.
- Document and distributes suggestions and ideas, with supporting detail.
- Helps identify local key players and decision makers.
- Identifies the main processes for which the group is responsible.
- Demonstrates the ability to improve on ways of doing things.
- Applies the concept of continuous improvement to identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
- Seeks help to implement ideas for process improvement for the group.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (Industrial or Relevant Preferred)
- Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills
- Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
