What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be joining CIBC’s Frontline Tools & Enablement Team. You’ll support complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to CIBC’s enterprise roadmap. As a Business Analyst, you’ll support end-to-end project implementation and support for both business and technology teams. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-sire and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.

• You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.

How You'll Succeed

• Understanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Solution Design - Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
• Analytical Thinking: You will have access to a variety of data sources from web analytics, sales, transactions, demographic & qualitative. Through strong analytical skills you will identify important trends, insights and suggestions to increase sales or enhance the client experience. Prior experience with any web analytics platform or working knowledge on programming languages such as Python, SaaS, VBA or SQL are good to have.
