Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN. This is a 6+ month contract to hire opportunity.
In this role, you will act as a liaison between business clients and the technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems. You will be responsible for producing business requirement artifacts and will be engaged throughout the project life cycle, from inception through post-install transition.
Responsibilities:
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Business Execution
- Contribute to large-scale planning related to Business Execution deliverables
- Review and analyze moderately complex Business Execution challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions to understand business problems and how proposed system enhancements address them
- Lead or participate in grooming sessions, author user stories, and attend size/commit sessions
- Produce business requirement artifacts including Use Cases, Business and Message Rules, User Stories, and Supplemental Specifications
- Work with user groups to develop training, resolve questions, and assess user needs
Requirements:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines and comfort working with technical and business teams
Desired skills:
- Experience with using AI tools to capture business requirements
- Ability to define, measure, and achieve business outcomes
- Experience with financial services applications
- Payments experience within ISO20022, Wires, SWIFT, ACH, Sanctions, Investigations, or electronic payments
- Experience in projects in an agile environment
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
