St. Jude has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst I in our human resources department.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on developing ServiceNow catalogs, dashboards, and process automation solutions. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, enhance the efficiency of business operations through ServiceNow workflows and automation tools, and drive the optimization of workflows within the ServiceNow platform. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless development of user-friendly ServiceNow interfaces that align with business goals and improve service delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in process automation, and a solid understanding of ServiceNow's capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in meetings with business teams to elicit and understand business/process requirements

  • Conduct analyses to report emerging business needs; and escalate problems when required.

  • Support resolution of needs and requests of business teams within an area, in coordination with other IT teams.

  • Independently conduct activities related to assigned areas (including documentation, and communication with business teams) around enterprise IT platforms/services.

  • Assist in optimization of standardized/pre-described business requirement gathering support processes in assigned areas.

  • Periodically present results to the team in project meetings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.

  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Minimum Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business or related field required.

  • Master's degree preferred.

Minimum Experience:

  • Some experience and/or understanding of structured Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

  • Some experience and/or understanding of identifying and documenting business IT problem statements, application support, business process design and/or technical documentation preferred.

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $65,520 - $114,400 per year for the role of Business Analyst I-ServiceNow Development.
