Job Description
IAT Insurance Group has an opening for a Business Analyst Internship within our IT Business Unit in our Omaha, Nebraska; Kansas City, Missouri; or Milwaukee, Wisconsin office locations for the summer of 2027. In this role, you will partner with business and technology teams to analyze business processes, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and digital solutions can enhance business outcomes. You will gain experience gathering requirements, documenting workflows, evaluating process improvement opportunities, and assisting with the design and testing of AI-powered solutions, including copilots and intelligent agents. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop business analysis, process improvement, and emerging technology skills while contributing to meaningful initiatives that support IAT's digital transformation efforts.
The internship is scheduled to begin on May 24th, 2027 and conclude on July 30th, 2027. Please note, IAT works on a hybrid schedule, working from the office Monday through Wednesday with the option of working remotely Thursday and Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with IT stakeholders to analyze current processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
- Recommend opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation solutions to streamline processes.
