Job Summary We are looking for a Business Analyst whose main focus will be to elevate the retail real estate output by providing reliable and timely information in addition to analysis that will guide the decision-making process on market strategy with a focus on North America. This role will be part of a cross-functional team and will be part of an interactive and collaborative work environment. The candidate will provide key stakeholders with market trends, demographic data, and other insights to support future investments and growth plans. Main Responsibilities Develop pro forma sales calls and cannibalization potential; Perform analyses and strategic thinking to support annual market planning and drive fleet-level decisions; Provide support for strategic growth and optimization initiatives that help create new strategies for fleet deployment; Create maps (dot density, heat maps, etc.) with pertinent information such as income distribution, population density, loyalty data, customer satisfaction intel, sales distribution, trade areas, and other; Build dashboards for internal stakeholders of all types to facilitate data-driven decisions on market intel; Focus on economic, demographic and market modeling, analysis, and interpretations to provide recommendations; Prepare monthly analyses and business cases using financial and non-financial data (market, occupancy and vacancy data at competing properties, maps, sales/rent comparable); Develop a deep understanding of major performance drivers and KPIs to support the business with regular reporting; Work with different cross-functional teams to improve the speed of reporting by creating automated processes to more efficiently consolidate data. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in a similar role; Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen; Strong problem solving and analytical skills; Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (can create complex formulas); Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, evolving environment; Strong organizational and analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment; Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec. Assets Ability to leverage tools such as CARTO, ESRI and Power BI, as well
