The Fuse Data & Analytics (D&A) team is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to influence Fuse's direction using data insights. The ideal candidate is data-curious and possesses a strong analytical mindset. They excel at communicating with stakeholders and turning ambiguity and conjecture into actionable recommendations. They find opportunities where data will lead to better outcomes and mobilize the D&A team to meet them.
In this role, you will work with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Finance and Marketing Managers, as well as other data experts to build new decision models that optimize customer experience. Key job responsibilities
Measure and report on the customer lifecycle funnel to improve customer targeting and signup experience.
Define and instrument new metrics in conjunction with Product Management.
Be customer-obsessed on behalf of our reporting customers. Set and enforce high reporting standards across the team.
Partner with Program Management to engage disparate stakeholder groups, distill ambiguous requests into estimates and crisp deliverables, and deliver effectively to schedules.
- 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
