Business Process Analyst (BPA) is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and standardizing end-to-end business processes. The role partners with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, support system integration (ERP/IBP), and enable efficient, scalable ways of working.
The role contributes to process design and transformation initiatives, leveraging business process expertise to support integrated and efficient solutions across the organization. Reporting to the Business Process Owner (BPO), the BPA actively supports defining and delivering the process roadmap for the department and/or function.
The BPA provides the analytical and documentation engine behind the BPO’s process design work. (S)he translates process direction set by the BPO into concrete artefacts (maps, Work Instructions, observation data, and analysis) and supports execution of shadowing, workshops, and continuous improvement activities on the ground.
The BPA does not own process design decisions; that accountability sits with the BPO. The BPA’s value is in rigorous, detail-accurate execution that gives the BPO reliable material to design and decide with.
The BPMO is composed by 6 Business Process Owners (OTC, FTP, PTP, MTD, LOG and RTR) reporting to each department, and multiple Business Process Analysts who reports to BPO.
Compensation: $64,800-$81,000
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Management & Continuous Improvement:
· Monitor process blockers and ensure adjustment of corresponding data
· Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot process-related issues
· Contribute to the design and validation of standardized and optimized processes
· Co-develop future-state process with BPO and/or other BPAs aligned with business and system capabilities
· Keep the Work Instruction inventory current, flagging gaps or outdated content to BPO
· Maintain mapping between Business Processes and underlying Operation processes / work instruction
· Responsible to measure process adoption and attrition
· Prepare materials for BPO forums, councils and steerco review under BPO direction
