We are seeking a highly analytical and solutions-oriented Data Analyst to support Workplace Benefits and Retirement. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and our Field Sales and Service partners. The successful candidate will possess a deep curiosity for understanding data, adept at identifying anomalies, investigating discrepancies, and the ability to design and implement efficient data-driven solutions. In addition, the Data Analyst will build and evolve analytical reporting using Power BI, Excel, and SQL. By digging into performance results, identifying key trends, and translating complex data into clear insights, the role provides the information needed for data‑driven action to help move our business grow. What you will do Analyze, interpret, and validate large data volume to identify trends, inconsistencies, and anomalies Provide technical and functional support on complex compensation programs, support decision-making with sound judgement backed by data, and mentor team Write and optimize SQL queries to support data retrieval and reporting Maintain tools and scripts using VB.NET to support business needs Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insights and business narratives Work with stakeholders to improve data availability, quality, and drive automation Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation, reconciliation, and quality checks Help resolve issues, perform analysis, and support application enhancements Document data flows, models, and solutions to ensure sustainability What you will bring 3+ years of hands-on experience with: Data modeling concepts and tools SQL (query development, optimization) VB.NET Power Automate Power Apps Power BI Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components Ability to model, structure, validate, and document complex datasets to support accurate and reliable decision‑making Experience improving manual operational processes, including the ability to streamline or automate validation workflows Proven experience identifying errors, inconsistencies, and anomalies in data Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment A proactive mindset — you seek to understand the purpose behind requests and consistently look for opportunities to improve processes and outcomes - The base salary for this position is between $65,800 - $109,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
