StafinGo is hiring for a client and is seeking an experienced Data Scientist / Analyst to join a high-impact data and analytics initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional with strong analytical, statistical, and technical skills who is comfortable working with complex datasets, developing insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making. Position Details : Job Title: Data Scientist / Analyst Employment Type: Contract Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite Start Date: September 14, 2026 End Date: March 31, 2027 Extension: Potential extension of up to an additional 253 days Compensation: $60/hour T4 – $75/hour INC Public Sector Experience: Nice to Have Key Responsibilities : Analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights. Develop analytical models, reports, dashboards, and data-driven solutions. Perform data validation, quality checks, statistical analysis, and interpretation. Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities through data analysis. Develop and maintain data models, analytical processes, and reporting solutions. Support data integration, transformation, and preparation activities. Investigate data issues and recommend effective technical and analytical solutions. Prepare technical documentation and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project deliverables and continuous improvement. Ideal Candidate : The successful candidate will have: Strong experience in data analysis, data science, or advanced analytics. Excellent SQL and Python skills. Experience working with large and complex datasets. Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization. Experience developing dashboards, reports, or analytical products. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams. Public-sector experience is considered an asset.
