SUMMARY:

Under the direction of Manager, FP&A the Data Analyst will be responsible for cleaning and preparing large and complex datasets, exploring normal trends and identifying irregularities in the data, analyzing and reconciling multiple points of data from various internal and external systems on a regular and cyclical basis. Based on the ongoing results of this reconciliation, they will need to effectively communicate, identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements through reporting tools.
The ideal candidate will be team focused, with the ability to function in many capacities, often concurrently.

IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Regularly work through large and complex datasets to clean and prepare them for analysis
  • Detect and resolve quality issues within the datasets
  • Extract meaningful business insights from complex datasets
  • Analyze raw data, identify trends and generate clear, concise reports
  • Assist with the creation and ongoing maintenance of all reconciliation related tools and processes
  • Assist with creation of Power BI reporting
  • Liaison between multiple departments including Finance, IT, Sales, Operations, and Billing
  • Be process minded, being able to identify and drive process improvements
  • Report on financial, as well as service performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  • Work closely and manage interactions across organizations to efficiently and effectively deliver.
  • Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no leadership or supervisory responsibilities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred with at least 5+ years’ experience in an analytical role.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Experience with Power Bi and Microsoft SQL Server preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and PowerApps, but not required
  • High level of emotional intelligence, decision making abilities, attention to detail and superior communication skills are required.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with data query/data management tools
