Job Description
Supports and maintains software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise wide applications associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of data for internal department planning and activities. Performs basic configuration, setup, and updating of application, including table definitions and access control. Enters and ensures validity of data entered into established tables, fields and system databases. Builds and produces reports using query and flexible reporting tools to meet the requirements of business management and staff. Sets up user accesses and trains users on application. Recommends changes in applications development, maintenance and system standards.
This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and no experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Project Lead/Work Stream Lead for Bills of Material, Parts and associated documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and business objectives
- Complete validation and verification of data for multiple loads of data into the PLM tool.
- Support and complete data clean-up by submitting requirements and collaborating with IT for PLM and ERP data clean-up and maintenance following the IT process for mass updates of data.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights
