Your new role and environment.
As a Data Analyst, you are responsible for the end-to-end data lifecycle, from extracting raw data via APIs to delivering high-level strategic dashboards in Power BI. You will be a key player in our digital transformation, moving our legacy SQL environment into a modern Databricks Medallion Architecture.
Within the team you will take the lead in transitioning our dimensional star models into the Databricks environment. You will become a domain knowledge expert that handles the ingestion, processing, and visualization of global IT initiatives that could include, finance, project planning, resource management, or continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities of your role.
- Modernize: Lead the migration of our legacy SQL/Stored Procedure environment to a cutting-edge Databricks Medallion architecture.
- Engineer: Build and maintain robust data pipelines using Python, Spark, and Azure resources to ingest data from diverse sources (APIs, flat files, databases).
- Analyze: Translate complex process, financial, and project portfolio data into actionable insights that drive the Enterprise Platforms' strategy.
- Visualize: Design and optimize sophisticated Power BI reports utilizing advanced DAX and Power Query to tell a comp
