Purpose of a Data Analyst
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to leverage data, statistical methods, and technology to identify trends, improve business performance, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Office Location: Barrie, ON (This role does not provide remote or hybrid work).
Responsibilities of a Data Analyst
- Utilize database management tools to perform data mining and analysis.
- Design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Analyze data and present findings, trends, and recommendations to management.
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for department leaders.
- Conduct data integrity reviews and ensure the accuracy and reliability of reporting.
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Manage relationships with third-party IT and technology service providers.
- Participate in corporate strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Ensure all reporting deadlines and deliverables are met in accordance with established timelines.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Consistently act in a manner that reflects positively on the organization and complies with company policies and procedures.
