Who are we hiring?
The Kansas City Current is seeking a highly motivated and soccer-intelligent Data Analyst to support the club’s technical, performance, and sporting operations departments. This role will play a key part in transforming data into actionable football insights that directly influence match preparation, player development, recruitment, performance optimization, and decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of the game with advanced technical and analytical capabilities. This individual must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced elite sporting environment, collaborating daily with coaches, analysts, performance staff, and front office leadership.
This role requires strong programming and systems-building expertise, including the ability to design and maintain scalable data infrastructure, automate workflows, and develop customized tools that support the technical staff’s day-to-day football operations.

Football Intelligence & Technical Support
- Deliver actionable insights to coaching and technical staff through pre-match, post-match, and opposition analysis.
- Support match preparation by analyzing tactical trends, player tendencies, team style profiles, and game model adherence.
- Assist in player recruitment and talent identification through data-driven evaluation and benchmarking.
- Develop individualized player performance reports and long-term development tracking systems.
