The Role:
As a Data Analyst Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to turn real-world data into insights that help drive the future of pharmacy automation. You’ll work alongside experienced data and analytics professionals to explore data, improve reporting, and support solutions that help pharmacies operate more efficiently and reliably.
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience with data modeling, analytics, reporting, and modern data technologies while contributing to projects that support innovative pharmacy automation solutions. You’ll learn how data moves from raw information to meaningful insights—and how those insights can help teams make smarter decisions.
The iA Intern Program is a 10-week summer internship, running from, Tuesday June 1, 2027, through Friday, August 6, 2027.
What you’ll do:
- Dive into real-world data by working alongside experienced team members to learn data modeling, analytics, and data-driven problem solving.
- Transform and modernize data solutions by converting legacy queries and reports into solutions using our modern data technology stack.
- Analyze and interpret data using techniques such as statistical analysis, data mining, and exploratory and predictive modeling.
- Build your technical skills by gaining exposure to modern analytics tools, data structures, reporting technologies, and best practices.
- Improve how we work with data by creating and maintaining clear documentation for queries, reports, processes, and data models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams by participating in team meetings, learning how data supports different areas of the business, and documenting key takeaways and action items.
- Contribute to meaningful projects that help support the technology behind automated pharmacy fulfillment and improve how pharmacies serve their patients.
Who you are:
- Experience in or current studies majoring in a relevant area, such as Data Analysis, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
- General knowledge of quantitative analytic techniques.
- Understanding of engineering disciplines.
- Experience in software programming.
Even better if you have:
- Knowledge of Claude or other AI assistance tools.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and Databricks.
- Knowledge of extended Microsoft tools and Smartsheet.
- Healthcare and/or pharmacy experience is a plus.
