As a Data Analyst Intern at Topcon Healthcare Inc., you will work with teams including Scheduling, Field Service Engineer (FSE), CAS, and the Call Center to analyze and improve travel patterns and costs. You will also assist in enhancing KPI reporting across departments, ensuring data-driven decisions are made to improve overall operational efficiency. Additionally, you will be encouraged to explore and suggest ways to utilize AI technologies to improve efficiency in repetitive tasks and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze travel patterns and scheduling data for Scheduling, FSE, and CAS teams to identify areas of inefficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
Develop actionable insights and strategies to reduce travel costs while maintaining operational effectiveness.
Work closely with the Call Center team to improve KPI reporting and ensure accurate and actionable insights.
Suggest and explore the use of AI technologies to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency across departments.
Create and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Assist with data collection, cleaning, and analysis to maintain data integrity and ensure quality insights.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform decision-making and process improvements.
Support the enhancement of current reporting tools and dashboards to optimize data accessibility and business intelligence.

Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and/or other data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Familiarity with AI technologies or an interest in exploring their application to improve business processes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous internship or experience in data analysis or a related field.
Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools.
Understanding of travel logistics and cost optimization in a business context.
Base Pay:
Expected Base Pay Range: $22.00 to $25.00 hourly based on degree level.
