The Justice Services Division of the Community Resources Department is on the hunt for our next "Data Dominator" — a new Data Analyst role!
This isn't a "request comes in, report goes out" job — it's a chance to build something from the ground up. We're bringing data work in-house to strengthen our infrastructure, close longstanding reporting gaps, and turn metrics into real tools for decision-making.
You'll have a hand in it all: building division-wide dashboards from scratch, shaping reporting standards that don't fully exist yet, contributing to a new database management system, and supporting high-stakes work like CJC extended-custody reviews and EPSO quarterly reporting. It's a foundational, division-wide scope that'll only grow as the role matures.
We're looking for 3+ years of experience in data collection, synthesis, or analysis — hands-on with databases, queries, and visualization tools (SQL, BI tools, and beyond). Just as important: the ability to tell a story with data, translate numbers for courts, boards, and the public, and stay steady across stakeholders who each see the data differently.
If you're curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and as driven by mission as by mechanics — this role was built for you. Apply today!
