Montage Marketing Group is seeking a Data Analyst to support client-facing projects in a growing marketing and communications environment. This role serves commercial, nonprofit, and public sector clients, including federal, state, and local government organizations in the delivery of data-informed marketing and communications strategies. This role combines data analysis, reporting, performance measurement, and strategic insights to help clients make informed decisions and optimize marketing, outreach, communications, and engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and innately curious, with the ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
This is a full-time, exempt position working a hybrid schedule at Montage’s Rockville, MD office and the employees home office. The anticipated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $80,000.
Position Overview
Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop performance metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards to measure marketing and communications effectiveness.
- Conduct audience, customer, stakeholder, and campaign analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and research to answer client and internal business questions.
- Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations that improve outcomes and overall organization performance.
- Apply data analytics methodologies, including predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques, to inform client program strategy and approach.
Reporting & Visualization
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports using a variety of platforms.
- Create compelling data visualizations that communicate insights to executive, client, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor campaign, website, social media, digital advertising, public engagement, and program performance metrics.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client objectives and contractual requirements.
- Translate and present findings through compelling written reports, presentations, and stakeholder briefings.
Data Management and Technical Execution
- Collect, clean, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources and platforms.
- Work with databases, spreadsheets, CRM systems, marketing platforms, and analytics tools to support reporting needs.
