Description

The Data Specialist 1 is responsible for coordinating and performing data entry and maintaining record keeping.Β  This is a full-time, Limited Duration position that reports to the Data Manager.Β 


This Limited Duration position ends June 30, 2024.Β

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESΒ 


Β 




  • Provides timely, accurate data entry for all agency programs for the purpose of accurate tracking and evaluation via multiple client databasesΒ 






  • Prepares and sorts source documents as well as identifies and interprets data to be enteredΒ 






  • Performs file transfer processes as needed based on project requirementsΒ 






  • Maintains all data documents for Local, State, Federal, and other funders’ requirementsΒ 






  • Performs data collection and entry functions using existing protocolsΒ 






  • Keeps track of received data, source documents and work completedΒ 






  • Resolves data questions, inconsistencies and issues related to missing dataΒ 






  • Record confidential information using a variety of data entry softwareΒ 






  • Assists staff with data entry questions, compiles and analyzes dataΒ 






  • Reviews error reports and enters corrections into computerΒ 






  • Maintain client records and filesΒ 






  • Utilize document archival processesΒ 






  • Monitor department paper flowΒ

Qualifications

Β 


QUALIFICATIONSΒ 




  • High school diploma or equivalentΒ 






  • At least three (3) years of data collection/entry experienceΒ 






  • At least 3 years of record maintenance experienceΒ 






  • Must have intermediate knowledge of computer systems and software technologiesΒ 






  • Must have intermediate working knowledge of MS OfficeΒ 






  • Ability to analyze statistical dataΒ 






  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated with effective time management skillsΒ 






  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive informationΒ 






  • Must be detail oriented with a high data accuracy rateΒ 






  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlinesΒ 






  • Must be a team playerΒ 






  • Must have a professional attitude and work styleΒ 






  • Must have current and valid state driver’s license, in good standing with no insurability restrictions and must be insurable under SEI’s auto insurance policy.Β
