Data Visualization Intern

CenCore, LLC seeks a motivated and talented Data Visualization Intern to join our team in Springville, Utah. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in data visualization and data storytelling. This is a paid, part-time internship for a college Junior or Senior and is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experienced data professionals and gain valuable real-world data skills and experience while finishing your degree.  Pay starts at $18/h.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop data visualizations and dashboards. 


• Learn and apply SQL for data manipulation and analysis. 


• Write extensive documentation for data models, especially your own projects.


• Collaborate to understand data requirements and deliver insightful visualizations. 


• Learn and apply data modeling and engineering principles.


• Participate in data storytelling projects, turning complex data sets into clear visualizations. 

• Engage in self-driven learning to enhance skills in data analysis and visualization.

• Interest in learning to analyze data and deliver insights through data visualization. 


• Self-motivated to learn new skills, identify problems, and create solutions. 

• A team player who can work well in a multi-role environment. 


• Must be able to work in the Springville, Utah office for 16-20 hours a week.

Positive Factors: 

• Currently in the junior year of an undergraduate program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 


• Basic knowledge of PowerBI is a plus. 


• Familiarity with SQL and database management systems. 

• Experience with concepts in physical security and government security clearances
