Reporting to the Manager, Destination Marketing, the Destination Marketing Analyst plays a major role in developing and enhancing attractions, products, and services. Within the Tourism and Cultural Industries Division, the destination marketing section fosters growth in tourism and facilitates partnerships that enable communities, businesses, and Nunavummiut to participate more fully in economic opportunities. The position will be responsible for the development and oversight of multiple ongoing marketing campaigns and initiatives, in addition to research on best practices in tourism from within Nunavut and other jurisdictions. The marketing team will utilize the findings of this research to determine which products and services will be developed and created for Nunavut.
ResponsibilitiesThe Destination Marketing Analyst’s main responsibilities are but are not limited to:

Developing, implementing and evaluating market-ready products and services by planning, drafting, implementing and monitoring a strategic Nunavut marketing plan that is regionally relevant.
