The digital team at Blackstone is a nimble group that seeks to deliver on marketing’s mandate to leverage brand to drive commercial impact. We oversee the firm’s social media strategy and channels, the corporate site, firm-level email marketing, support paid media activities as well as act as the research and analytics hub across Corporate Affairs. We are looking for a smart, entrepreneurial team member who can support and enable us to scale our team’s output across channels, manage workflows and approvals, and help augment our reporting. This role will have an exciting opportunity to get steeped in all core disciplines in digital marketing – analytics, social media, paid media, website and email marketing – while supporting the team’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain channel activation calendars for social, web and email, and ensure on-time delivery
  • Manage workflows and approvals for content being distributed across a variety of owned and paid channels that ensures high-quality execution
  • Pull and analyze performance data across digital channels (e.g. web, social, email, paid, events), and communicate results and recommendations to the marketing team and business stakeholders
  • Communicate and drive firmwide adoption of best practices for our primary channels (social, web, email)
  • Assist in managing day-to-day social media content creation in our pipelines as well as ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders across the firm
  • Help setup of new Blackstone.com webpages and content updates, build and deploy marketing emails to a wide range of external stakeholders
  • Manage production and approval timelines for new webpages and emails
  • Support the execution of research and analytics projects, including pulling reports, running analyses, collaborating with channel owners, compiling findings into succinct narratives, and navigating stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have:

  • 1+ years of experience in digital marketing; experience with analytics is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with some or all of social, website, and email marketing channels
  • Analytical skills to identify and report back strategic findings
  • Strong written communication skills and creative sensibility
  • Flexible mindset and determined attitude with the capacity to adapt to changing environments
  • Demonstrated passion for understanding financial subject matter
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping projects well documented and on track
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly review work
  • Effective communicator and responds well to constructive feedback
  • Self-starter, organized, motivated, and able to contribute positively to the collegial atmosphere of the team
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree

Expected annual base salary range:

$75,000 - $110,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
