Higginbotham, a privately held, independent insurance and financial services firm that ranks within the top 20 nationwide, has an immediate opening for a Download Interface Data Specialist.


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Download Interface Data Specialist to join our team in the insurance industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless data integration between our agency management systems, download mailboxes, and carrier partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing download data and suspense, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various team members.


Key Responsibilities:



  1. Interface Management: Oversee and manage the systems that interface between our agency management system and insurance carriers, ensuring accurate and timely data transfers.

  2. Configuration and Setup: Configure and set up systems that interface with Applied EPIC, ensuring proper mapping and integration of data fields.

  3. Issue Resolution: Monitor download transactions for errors and discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with carriers and software vendors to resolve problems promptly.

  4. Data Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and consistency across all download transactions and systems.

  5. User Support: Provide support to internal users for download-related issues, offering guidance and support.

  6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve download processes, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  7. Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for download processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

  8. Collaboration: Work closely with IT, carriers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth data integration and address any interface-related concerns.

  9. Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on download activity, providing insights and recommendations to management for continuous improvement.


Qualifications:



  1. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with IVANS Download processing or managing property and casualty insurance accounts required.

  2. Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

  3. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working effectively with internal and external partners.

  4. Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all download configurations and data transactions.

  5. Team Player: Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and partners.
