The Good Shepherd Services Impact and Evaluation Department’s mission is to support programs in managing their contracts and learning from data to strengthen the services and impact. I&E oversees agency-wide efforts in performance management, promoting implementation of evidence-based practices, and supporting evidence-generating activities. Within I&E, the Education team supports the programs in Good Shepherd Services (GSS) Education programs, including Community Schools, YABCs, Transfer and Partnership Schools and LifeLink programs. As a Program Analyst, you would be driving this mission by working with GSS’ Education Programs including closely partnering with program leadership and staff on improvement efforts, making data accessible and relevant to day-to-day practice, inspiring the use of data by customizing Salesforce and other data collection systems, creating reports, and providing technical assistance. This position requires a passion for providing impactful services to our communities and participants, a strong understanding of education programs, and advanced technical and analytical skills. This work relies upon having the interpersonal agility to build relationships with multiple levels of staff and an enthusiasm for working in a collaborative learning environment. This role is primarily based in Manhattan, but there are periodic visits to program sites across NYC, including some in East New York and the Bronx. Reports to: DIRECTOR, EDUCATION PROGRAMS, IMPACT AND EVALUATION Location: 305 7th Avenue, New York, New York 10001 (Position requires travel to other GSS programs in Brooklyn and Bronx Area) Hours: 35 Hours/Week; Exempt Salary: $66,000 - 73,500 As a Program Analyst, you will strategically guide quality improvement efforts: Continuously assess and be aware of program performance, trends and needs to effectively support ongoing quality improvement strategies. Strategize with program leadership around new and existing initiatives to effectively support program(s) in tracking related outcomes and performance. Maintain expertise in quality improvement approaches, evaluation, best practices, and emerging trends to inform your work. Major Duties Manage primary participant databases and support data integrity, Train staff and provide technical assistance on how to use multiple internal and external databases Prepare and guide programs in Salesforce, including performing data inventory, compiling data elements, cleaning data, and supporting the development of a process map and configuration plan. Collaborate with the GSS IT team to identify ways to improve and build the system. Design Salesforce dashboards and reports to track new aspects of program’s evolving work. Lead data quality management efforts by developing data integrity plans, setting validation protocols, and partnering with the Data Integrity Analyst to reconcile data across systems, perform quality checks, and produce data quality reports.
