Position Summary
The ERP Business Analyst will conduct analysis of existing business process configuration within Microsoft Dynamics F&O, and partner with production locations on improvements & changes. The focus for this role is on continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics F&O utilization, including process automation and reporting across all HBD locations.
Since this role is the point of contact for all requests and changes to the production environment including technical errors and enhancement requests, the role requires understanding of all aspects of Microsoft Dynamics F&O from customer service to Manufacturing, through supply chain and to financial reconciliation. Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Translate shop floor and production needs into functional solutions within Dynamics F&O.
- Conduct UAT testing, troubleshoot system issues, and provide support to end users.
- Research and develop new functionality that is released by Microsoft and present it to the ERP Steering Committee.
- Vet and perform analysis on requests covering change improvements, system configuration improvement, automation, process re-routing, etc.
- Interface with team members and Microsoft Dynamics F&O partners to vet, coordinate change, and ensure no disruption impacts for changes applied.
- Partner with plant Continuous Improvement teams on suggesting and implementing process improvements by utilizing automation and increasing efficiency.
- Document, lead & perform training to existing users as new functionality is introduced.
- Develop and support custom reporting utilizing SQL and Power Query
- Perform all system validation during Microsoft programed upgrades.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of ERP experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics F&O or Dynamics AX is preferred.
- Strong understanding of ERP Finance & Operations processes.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders and end users with an adaptive style, influencing skill and change management orientation.
- Strong tactical, problem solving, executional skills and project management experience.
- Advanced technical skills with Excel, Power Automate, Power BI, and SQL preferred.
