Financial Planning & Analysis

Periodic rolling forecasts, partnering with department and plant leaders to build, challenge, and consolidate their submissions.

Prepare the monthly management reporting package, including actual-versus-budget and actual-versus-forecast variance analysis with clear, written explanations of the drivers behind each variance.

Analyze manufacturing performance — standard cost versus actual, material and labor usage, overhead absorption, scrap and yield, inventory levels, and COGS — and translate the results into actionable recommendations.

Build and maintain product-, customer-, and plant-level margin analysis, including price / volume / mix bridges explaining period-over-period changes.

Develop financial models and business cases for capital expenditure requests, pricing decisions, cost-reduction initiatives, and other investments; track realized results against the approved business case.

Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to quantify the financial impact of operational, commercial, and macroeconomic changes.

Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis across the U.S. and Canadian entities.

Build and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting tools that give operations and commercial leaders self-service visibility into their results.

Deliver ad-hoc analysis for the Controller, CFO, and executive leadership, including board and lender reporting support.
