Job Description: We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to play a key role in shaping inventory and gross margin insights for a multi‑billion-dollar retail business. This role works closely with Finance and business stakeholders, building models, influencing decisions, and supporting high-impact forecasting and scenario planning. You’ll deepen your technical expertise by working across relational databases and large data sets, with a strong emphasis on querying and leveraging SQL to uncover actionable insights. What You’ll Do: Conduct financial analysis regarding Inventory and Gross Margin; interpret analysis and provide recommendations to business partners and management. Support creation & maintenance of monthly, annual, and long-range plans and forecasts relating to Inventory and Gross Margin; monitor and provide analysis on impacts to Gross Margin and Inventory. Partner with Merchandise Planning & Analysis (MP&A) to understand and quantify risks associated with the company’s Open-To-Buy position. Perform ad hoc data analysis to create and produce reports that support business needs; partner with various project leads to provide analysis and quantify impacts.
