Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst partners with the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and business leaders across the organization to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and business analysis. This role is responsible for evaluating financial and operational performance, developing financial models, identifying trends, and providing data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making across retail, energy, fleet, car wash, and real estate operations.
The position serves as a key business partner to finance and operational teams, helping leaders understand performance, improve profitability, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve organizational goals. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist with annual budget and period reforecasting activities across multiple business units.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior-year performance.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, capital projects, new site development, and operational improvements
