Job Description:
Support mission-critical initiatives across GDIT’s Federal Health Division. In this role you will partner with finance and program leadership to deliver analysis, reporting, and insights that enable accurate financial execution and impactful mission outcomes.

As a Financial Analyst, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful.
- Collect, review, reconcile, and validate financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy
- Perform financial functions such as budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and analysis across assigned programs
- Create, maintain, and update financial models, spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools to support program and corporate reporting needs
- Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data discrepancies
- Generate new project records and maintain/monitor project setups throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate coding, timely activation, and alignment with financial and contractual requirements
- Maintain complete records and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal controls, contract requirements and applicable government regulations.
- Conduct audits and analysis of direct and indirect costs to ensure labor and non-labor charges are allowable and processed in a timely manner.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and support recovery or mitigation strategies.
- Support monthly reporting functions including sales and earnings variance commentary.
- Prepare customer deliverables including invoice backup packages, Limitation of Funds notifications, and ad-hoc requests.
- Support review of cost proposals, contract modifications, and special projects as assigned.
