Position Overview: The Aluminum Boat Group is a division Brunswick, which includes market leading brands such as Lund, Harris, Lowe and Princecraft. Together, these brands play a vital role in Brunswick’s marine strategy and represent a significant portion of its overall success. The ABG Financial Analyst will play a key role in consolidating monthly results, analyzing business performance, and preparing allocation models. The position will report to the ABG Finance Director and will be based out of the corporate office just outside of Chicago in Mettawa, IL. Interaction with the various aluminum brands will provide an opportunity to work cross functionally with the multiple manufacturing locations across the country.

Essential Functions:
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for ABG central.
- Update allocation model for ABG central and provide monthly detail to ABG brands.
- Report on brand level financial performance and prepare slides for monthly leadership reviews.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc analysis files (actuals/forecast/budget) for ABG leadership.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze dealer pipeline levels and retail sales data.
- Manage sales team compensation program and performance tracking.
- Support Senior Financial Analyst in building model profitability files including material, labor, and overhead variance allocations.
- Update monthly ABG Inventory Breakdown report and hold monthly review with brand leadership.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Business Objects, and other data management tools to increase business reporting capabilities.
