Job Overview:


Reporting to the LGUS Director FP&A Corporate Reporting this position designs and prepares financial and operational performance assessments in support of senior management analysis; coordinates the preparation of monthly financial forecasts and annual operating plans; and assists in the completion of regional financial reporting requirements


Primary Responsibilities\:Β 



  • Β  Β  Β  Β Responsible for the compilation of information used in the review of actual financial results versus forecasted results on a monthly basis:


oΒ Β  Create comparison between actual results and forecasted resultsΒ 


oΒ Β  Use existing financial models that facilitate timely review and analysis of actual results vs. forecasted results, and improve models where appropriate


oΒ Β  Assist in the preparation of presentation material to senior management highlighting performance versus forecast and versus prior actual periods.


oΒ Β  Lead the monthly financial closing review process



  • Β Β  Β  Β  Β Lead the monthly financial forecast cycle, including:


oΒ Β  Adherence to forecasting timeline


oΒ Β  Working with key regional participants to ensure adherence to timeline


oΒ Β  Consolidation of operations data


oΒ Β  Creation / maintenance of meaningful cost models that summarize forecasted financial results compared with prior forecasts, prior actual periods and operating planΒ 



  • Β  Β  Β  Β Responsible for the overall coordination of annual planning cycle, including:


oΒ Β  Adherence to planning cycle timeline; and ensuring compliance by individual cost centers and plants


oΒ Β  Coordination with Finance to ensure submission deadlines are met timely and accurately


oΒ Β  Development / maintenance of cost models analyzing plant submissions in terms of financial trends


oΒ Β  Develop department plan presentations to Senior Management


oΒ Β  Partnering with assigned cost center leaders to develop annual departmental budgetsΒ 



  • Β  Β  Β  Β Ad Hoc reporting to assist in the evaluation of emerging operational performance trends, including Headcount, Expense Work Order Spend, and Fixed Cost analysis.Β 

  • Β  Β  Β  Β Participate in the development of operational reports in JD Edwards / OBIEE / The Hub. To include prioritization of key reports, report development, and the provision of business wide support throughout the implementation period.Β 

  • Β  Β  Β  Β Assist in training activities across the region relative to the JD Edwards and Month-end Closing.



  • Β  Β  Β  Β Development / Maintenance of multiple cost models, which include but are not limited to:


oΒ Β  Allocations


oΒ Β  Fixed Cost


oΒ Β  Headcount


oΒ Β  Hub Forecasting & Maintenance


oΒ Β  Productivity


oΒ Β  Reclasses (Capital / Expense)


oΒ Β  Warehouse Inventory


oΒ Β  Work Orders (Expense)

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • 3+Β years Finance experience required

  • JD Edwards / OBIEE reporting tool experience strongly desired

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access; Microsoft Powerpoint

  • Travel as necessary

  • Excellent problem solving, process management and time management skills

  • Ability to act with high integrity and trust
