Summary/Objective
Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.

Essential Functions

  • Capability and/or experience developing and presenting assessments to a diverse audience.
  • Must possess the ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • Works independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Must be able to provide daily supervision and direction to support teams.

Β Required Education and Experience

  • Education: Master’s degree in a field pertinent to position from an accredited institution plus 7 years DoD experience and knowledge demonstrated in missile defense related or other complex, large DoD Programs/Projects
  • Acceptable alternative: Bachelor's degree in a field pertinent to the position plus 10 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / projects.
  • Acceptable Alternative: 15+ years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / projects.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately process multiple assignments with aggressive timelines
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Positive attitude, self-starter and self-motivated
  • Good collaboration, problem solving, organizational and team facilitation skills
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and set priorities
  • Current active DoD SECRET security clearance (or the ability to obtain)

Β Preferred Education and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas: enterprise information services and operations, cyber security, systems engineering
  • Ability to perform quality assurance evaluations
  • Experience using enterprise-level collaboration tools such as SharePoint
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully transitioning strategic goals to product operations
  • Knowledgeable in DoDAF, ITIL, or similar framework
  • Familiar with DoD networks and communications transport system
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, managing, and maintaining a broad spectrum of IT and IT security/Cyber technologies. (Specific experience with Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls is highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience with networking architecture, networking protocols, network security design, routers, firewall architecture, etc.
  • Experience with network scanning and mapping
  • Experience with risk assessment and analysis
  • Technical network and security related certifications are a plus
