The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial operations of Anderson Center for Autism through the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial and statistical data. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of internal and external financial reporting, including monthly financial statements, regulatory filings, and cost reports.
The Financial Analyst partners closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with funding, regulatory, and organizational requirements. Pay Range: $71,950.00 - $77,150.00 Salary; Based on experienceRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including supporting schedules, variance analysis, and trend reporting
- Ensure all financial data is complete, accurate, and aligned with internal records and reporting deadlines
- Perform variance analysis on revenue, expenses, staffing, and operational metrics; communicate key findings to leadership
- Prepare and support annual New York State Consolidated Fiscal Reports (CFR) and Statewide Standards of Payment (SSOP)
- Compile financial and statistical data for regulatory filings, ensuring consistency with audited financial statements and general ledger
- Assist in preparing annual filings including IRS Form 990 and NYS CHAR 500, including reconciliations and support schedules
- Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, allocations, and other month-end closing activities
