The Work:

The Financial Analyst, Senior will manage and analyze complex budgets, provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership, and support the planning and execution of large-scale resource allocation efforts.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee, monitor, and report on the execution of large, complex budgets (≥ $50M) for Government programs.

Analyze financial data to provide thorough, data-driven recommendations and actionable options for senior leadership.

Develop high-quality Program Objective Memorandums (POMs) to align with strategic objectives and resource planning requirements.

Create and implement comprehensive spend plans that guide organizational financial strategies and promote sound fiscal management.

Produce clear and accurate financial reports, analyses, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI and related Power Platform tools.

Utilize advanced knowledge of resource management to conduct detailed budget tracking, data analysis, and projections.

Collaborate with stakeholders on the formulation, execution, and reporting of Army and Joint budgets, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Conduct reviews of program budgets and spending, ensuring timely identification and resolution of variances and financial risks.

Leverage familiarity with GFEBS to prepare and manage financial reporting functions with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Provide strategic financial support for joint military exercises and other operations, with a focus on resource allocation and efficiency.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements through predictive financial modeling and innovative use of tools such as Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
