Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting and at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing / production environment.
Proficiency in Excel (Advanced) with experience with formulas, pivot tables, x lookups and building financial models.
SUMMARY:
The company is looking for a Financial Analyst to partner with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, reporting, cost accounting, and strategic decision-making for a growing aerospace manufacturing operation.
This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis manufacturing cost accounting, and process improvement indicatives while supporting accurate financial reporting, revenue recognition, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management to analyze financial and P&L performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability
Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and corporate reporting requirements
Support accounting and financial reporting activities for both point-in-time and over-time customer contracts in accordance with corporate accounting policies and U.S. GAAP
Assist with annual budget, rolling forecast and long-range plan (LRP) process
Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate business performance, f
