Job Summary
Alaska Overview
The Alaska segment primarily explores for, produces, transports and markets crude oil, natural gas and NGLs. We are the largest crude oil producer in Alaska and have major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay, Kuparuk and Western North Slope asset areas. Additionally, we are one of Alaska’s largest owners of state, federal and fee exploration leases, with approximately one million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2025. Alaska operations contributed 12 percent of our consolidated liquids production and one percent of our consolidated natural gas production.
In 2025, net crude oil production for Alaska averaged 199 MBOED.
Position Overview
The Geodata & Seismic Analyst is responsible for the stewardship, readiness, and digital enablement of seismic and geospatial data used across subsurface interpretation, modeling, and analytics workflows. This role ensures seismic data is accurate, compliant, automation‑ready, and suitable for emerging digital and AI‑assisted workflows, while continuing to provide strong operational support to geoscience and GGRE users.
The position acts as the primary seismic data authority bridging traditional geodata management with digital workflow automation and AI‑ready data practices, supporting evolving subsurface technology initiatives without assuming data science or software engineering responsibilities.
