Healthcare Data Specialist - On-site in Minnesota - LTC Experience Required with PCC Experience

POSITION SUMMARY:   The Healthcare Data Specialist supports clinical information systems by responding to user inquiries, developing education support relevant to clinical information systems, and creating reporting tools to identify trends using data. This role also assists with system implementation and maintains a positive relationship with Health Dimensions Group (HDG) Managed Communities (MCs).

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Respond promptly to user setups and assist with pulling medical record data and analyzing requests.


• Assists with data gathering data entry for transitions


• Assists with onboarding, offboarding, and transitions of HDG MCs’ information systems.


• Assists in analyzing, relative to information systems implementation and utilization under manager guidance. 


• Assists the Revenue Cycle team in onboarding new HDG MCs.


• Supports the development and delivery of education/training required for implementation of system go-live, including utilization of TEAMs/Zoom/Ring Central, SharePoint, OneDrive, and various other systems.


• Assists with educational support for information system users and assists the manager in developing, delivering, communicating, and evaluating staff education related to clinical systems to help them function to their highest possible level.


• Assists with inventory, design, and building of relevant job aids and performs training for users. 


• Works with staff to optimize usage of systems through education and training, quality outcomes, and provision of support in accordance with organizational goals under the guidance of the manager.


• Creates automated rules/alerts/reminders that can improve compliance and patient safety under the manager’s guidance.


• Assists in summarizing findings, building presentations, and data visualization under the manager's guidance.


• Maintains positive and collaborative relationships with HDG's MC in partnership with the manager.


• Creates and maintains dashboards and other reporting tools to identify trends using data to drive the business to action under the manager's guidance.


• Supports clinical integration, operations, and achievement of clinical excellence related to Informatics under manager guidance.


• Performs other duties as assigned.
