What will you do?Β 

A day in the life of a HR Data Specialist at VF looks a little like this.

You will provide support for the Americas by acting as the HR Data and Workday process expert and administrator. You will serve as the point of contact on HR Data questions, processes, and Workday. This will involve overseeing the data processing function, which includes maintaining, auditing, and processing sensitive HRIS data. As the HR Data expert, you will serve in an advisory role with your client group to ensure all requests contain accurate data and question and counsel the requestor if anything does not align with VF processes or structure. Also, it will be your responsibility to optimize efficiency for our partners by streamlining processes and providing guidance and tutorials on Workday tasks and data elements through effective communication.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.Β 

  • Process and approve requests and tasks in Workday for the Americas Region. These tasks would include processing transactions related to Job Requisitions, new position creation, Hires, Terminations, Data Changes, and Employee Personal Data, among others.
  • Work with HR and management team to validate requests and the accurate completion, routing, and approvals of each transaction in a timely manner. As well as review current positions for data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other divisions of HR (Payroll/Benefits/Compensation/Talent)
  • Partner with HR Technology team on integration processes within Workday HRIS
  • Create/Maintain open Positions within Workday and align with Talent/HR Partners on recruiting strategy.
  • Regularly conducting data audits for different business functions. By ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Direct employees to The Loop, Workday or People Service Center for HR questions regarding pay, benefits, learning, general HR, Workday system support, etc.
  • Train employees, managers and HRBP’s on data accuracy, Workday functionality through process documentation and training sessions as needed.
  • Manage and execute Workday cases by reviewing, tracking progress, and ensuring timely resolutions meeting all SLA’s.
  • Fulfill basic report request for HR and managers by gathering, compiling, organizing data, and presenting reports in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Assist on special projects such as position management activities and testing various applications.
  • Follow Data Privacy/HIPAA laws.
  • Report on Federal Employment Regulations (EEO/AAP)

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you will need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1-3 years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

  • Prior Experience with HR Data support, Workday transactions, and HR business support preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • 1-3 years of Customer service experience especially asking questions to ensure HR requests are accurate and make sense within the VF framework.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, Excel, Β Outlook
  • Experience with analyzing data, reporting, high-volume processing.
  • Ability to work harmoniously and proficiently with people from varied backgrounds and cultures.
  • Location Requirement: This position is an office flex and will be at the Greensboro, North Carolina office. Office flex employees must come into the office three days a week..

Hiring Range:

$25.80 USD - $32.25 USD per hour

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, orΒ commissionΒ potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
