ย In this role, you will oversee analystsโ workflow while prioritizing the analysis process. This includes reviewing staff work, participating in financial examinations and meetings, and training staff in the application of risk-focused surveillance concepts, best practices, and advanced analytical skills. Work involves organizing and presenting the results of research and analysis, applying accounting principles and best practices to identify solutions to problems, and demonstrating an advanced understanding of insurance financial and operational risks, risk management techniques, and transaction flows.
You will also be expected to participate in the development and implementation of program policies, procedures, standards, and requirements. Additionally, you will communicate and correspond with company executives, department staff, other regulators, and the NAIC to investigate issues identified during the analysis process and evaluate whether additional regulatory actions are warranted.
