DescriptionThe Intermediate Business Analyst is responsible for discovering, synthesizing, and analyzing information from a variety of sources within an enterprise, including tools, processes, documentation, and stakeholders. Furthermore, they are responsible for eliciting and documenting the actual needs of stakeholders to determine underlying issues and causes. They enable more complex change in an enterprise by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders with consideration of business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. They also play a role in aligning the designed and delivered solutions with the needs of stakeholders with an in-depth understanding of applicable business systems, process capabilities, industry requirements, and digital trends. They can recommend and lead delivery of complex solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. They can guide and advise less-experienced Business Analysts.
This position requires a full-time on-site presence.
Salary Range: $61,000 to $85,500
Responsibilities
- Understand customer demand versus IT supply
- Build relationships with all key stakeholders
- Performs complex requirements elicitation & documentation supported by a Business Analysis Plan
- Develop test cases and manage testing lifecycle from planning to execution
- Document business processes
- Understand the overall JDI IT project methodology (BA)
- Understand capability of analytics tools and enable business to act from analytical insight
- Manage integrity, confidentiality and security of data to support business goals
- Collaborate with design and architecture ensuring business needs are properly met
- Translate business process model to technical realization
- Understands the current and future business needs
Qualifications
- Education Required: University degree or College diploma in related discipline
- 3+ years work experience in a business environment (preferably IT)
- Strong understanding of retail business processes and how technology supports operational efficiency across stores and distribution centers
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Works well independently and collaboratively
- Executive presence and the confidence to present recommendations, challenge assumptions constructively, and help guide decision-making
