Position: Intern – Human Resources Data Analyst

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Job Summary:

As an HR Analyst Intern focused on Database & Data Analytics, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR team by developing and maintaining HR databases, as well as analyzing data to drive informed decision-making. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR data analytics, work with cutting-edge tools, and contribute to meaningful HR projects.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of HR databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information.
• Collect, organize, and analyze HR data to support decision-making processes.
• Create and manage dashboards and reports to visualize key HR metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with HR team members to identify data needs and provide analytical support.
• Conduct data quality checks and troubleshoot any data-related issues.
• Support the implementation of HR analytics tools and technologies.
• Participate and support HR projects and initiatives that may be related to Training, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, etc
• Review and simplify processes and/or various HR systems.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar software.
• Experience with database management and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
