Northpointe is a Community Mental Health (CMH) organization providing services to individuals with serious mental illness, emotional disturbance, substance abuse disorders, and intellectual/developmental disabilities across Iron, Dickinson, and Menominee counties in the UP of Michigan. Northpointe itself was established in 1995 but has roots as a CMH dating back to 1964. Our presence can be found through remote emergency services, in school and home-based programs, and in clinical and residential home settings.
Job Purpose
We are looking for a passionate, driven individual to join our team as an IT Business Analyst serving Iron, Menominee, and Dickinson counties. This role is offered on a full-time, salary basis with potential for work either on-site at our Kingsford, MI offices or remotely based on applicant experience. Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this position performs a variety of tasks which support the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), business technology tools, and state reporting requirements. These tasks include but are not limited to reporting, assisting with management of projects and development of new/revised processes. This person may also provide support for other quality improvement activities and other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties
- Working in SSMS or other database management tools for access to NBHS Data.
- SQL reporting services and integration/collaboration with PowerBI
- Providing data informatics to staff as needed
- Project management and status updates.
- Working with clinical and administrative tasks for business process improvement
- Review and validation of ELMER data from nightly backup from PCE
- Analytics of data from ELMER and Great Plains to assist in business decision making for leadership team and administrative staff.
- Work with staff that have required reporting and auditing needs to provide necessary and relevant data.
