Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business processes related to operational risk, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business and functional requirements for Risk IT initiatives.
- Develop business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications to support system enhancements and risk reporting.
- Apply relational data concepts to support source-to-target data mapping and document data flows for enterprise data lake ingestion and reporting solutions.
- Partner with Agile teams to support the delivery of risk-related solutions while ensuring alignment with business requirements and timelines.
- Conduct gap analysis and exploratory data analysis to identify improvement opportunities and support solution design.
- Work with stakeholders across business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
- Gather requirements from business units and communicate them to technical teams.
- Support complex business processes and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver technical solutions that meet business needs.
What you will need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
- Certifications in Agile methodologies, business analysis, or risk management are considered an asset.
- 2-4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a related role.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear documentation, including BRDs, process flows, and data mappings.
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including experience using Jira and working within Scrum teams.
